40 miles in 4 hours

So most of you know we live in Eagle Mountain and we love it, but every once in a while it has its negatives. Yesterday for example I played basketball at work and left an hour later as usual. BAD DECISION. By the time I got on the road the snow and wind were unbelievable. It took me 2 and a half hours to get about 15 miles from home. The time was now 6:30 and both roads into EM were blocked due to accidents. So after a pit stop at Smiths with about 200 other people. I decided to get back on the road for another hour drive until I made it home at 8:07 pm. I drove 40 miles in 4 hours. There were times I couldn't see 5 feet in front of the car. But luckily I wasn't one of the 40 people that had to abandon their car on the road into EM. The funny thing is that if I would have left at the normal time (3 or 3:30) I would have been home by 4:30. I wonder if there are job openings in Phoenix???

That is the biggest bummer. I can't believe that storm that came through. I'm glad that you made it home safely though!

The southern california/Indio area is pretty nice too. No snow here, good traffic conditions and family to boot.
